Your first Medicare enrollment is one of the most important decisions you will make. Whether you are considering Medicare Advantage, a Supplement plan, or Part D coverage, here is what you need to know before you begin.
I have helped more than 700 Medicare beneficiaries throughout St. George, Washington, Hurricane, Ivins, Santa Clara, Cedar City, and Southern Utah understand their options and enroll with confidence.

This window is called your Initial Enrollment Period. It opens 3 months before your 65th birthday and closes 3 months after.
This is often the simplest time to enroll. Coverage starts the first of the following month, giving you the earliest possible start date.
If you enroll during your birthday month, coverage starts the following month rather than immediately.
Enrolling in these final months means coverage will not start for 2 to 3 months. If you are in this window, contact me right away.
Certain life events qualify you for a Special Enrollment Period, including losing employer coverage, moving, or changes in income. Call me and we will figure out where you stand.
The right plan depends on your health, doctors, prescriptions, and budget. There is no single right answer for everyone, and I help you work through all of it.
